We are committed to building an incredible community with TEDxShoreditch! We are all about lifelong learning and helping to bring higher education and inspiring discussions to the vibrant area of Shoreditch.
Therefore, we now run monthly Salon events so that our community can see each other regularly and build those meaningful connections.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxShoreditch, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxShoreditch event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

PARTNERS
We have partners of all kinds at TEDxShoreditch. You do not have to sponsor the event with cash sums, but you can support the running of it.
So, you can help provide delicious food/drink for our audience, help us print merch for the event, offer your space, do some marketing for us, provide photography/videography, let us use your software etc.
If you believe in the vision of TEDxShoreditch and want to get involved, there are plenty of ways you can be a partner.
Become our next Speaker!
Do you want to become a TEDx speaker? Well, we are always looking for great ideas that are worth spreading.
There are currently TWO ways you can apply to be a speaker for TEDxShoreditch:
- Email speakers@tedxshoreditch.com with your pitch about your talk and why it fits in with this year’s theme of resilience. This is to speak at TEDxShoreditch in September 2025. The closing date for applications is May 31st 2025.
- Apply to pitch at our 2025 Pitch Competition, which is a LIVE pitch at this year’s event in September. You will be judged in front of a live audience to get the chance to talk at TEDxShoreditch 2026.
Please note, our organiser will NOT accept pitches on LinkedIn or Instagram.
